Investor questions, answered.

The questions investors ask us most, about accreditation, accounts, taxes, distributions, and reporting. If yours isn't here, our Investor Relations team is a phone call away.

Getting started & eligibility.

Who can invest, what accreditation means, and how to know where you stand before you commit a dollar.

You can invest as an individual, through a joint account, or as tenants in common. You can also invest through an entity, including trusts, LLCs, LPs, C corporations, and S corporations, as well as through an individual retirement account. If you are unsure which structure fits your situation, our Investor Relations team can walk you through the options.

Yes. You can invest through a self-directed IRA. Start by checking with your current custodian to confirm they allow this type of investment. If you need a referral, we are happy to connect you with the group we use personally. Reach out at invest@axxiscapital.com and we will make the introduction.

No. We currently have opportunities open to both accredited and sophisticated investors. Which offerings you can access depends on the specific deal and how it is structured, so the best next step is to talk with our team about what is open right now.

Generally, you qualify if your income was over $200,000 individually, or over $300,000 together with a spouse, in each of the last two years, with a reasonable expectation of the same this year. You also qualify with a net worth over $1 million, excluding the value of your primary residence. Other criteria can apply, so we recommend confirming your status with your own financial or legal adviser.

A sophisticated investor is someone who does not meet the accredited thresholds but has enough investing experience and knowledge to evaluate the merits and risks of an opportunity on their own. If that describes you, there may still be offerings available to you.

Accounts & taxes.

How partnership income is reported, what to expect at tax time, and how to handle prior-year filings.

A K-1 is the tax form partnerships use to report each investor's share of taxable income, deductions, and credits for the year. Because our investments are held in partnerships, we provide K-1s annually so you have what you need for your tax filing.

Email our Investor Relations team at invest@axxiscapital.com with the property and tax year in question, and we will help you get an amended K-1.

Investor funds go toward the total acquisition cost of the property. That includes the down payment, acquisition fees, legal and transaction costs, capital improvements, and reserves set aside for the operation of the asset. In other words, your capital is put to work buying, improving, and safeguarding the property you own a share of.

Email our Investor Relations team at invest@axxiscapital.com and let us know which property you need a fair market valuation for. We will follow up with the details.

Distributions & reporting.

When you get paid, how we keep you informed, and the access you have to the assets you own.

Whether a distribution will be paid is evaluated roughly 45 days after the close of each quarter. Distributions depend on the performance and cash flow of each property and are never guaranteed, but our aim is to return income to investors on a steady, predictable schedule.

Approximately 45 days after each quarter closes, AXXIS provides a Quarterly Property Report to all current investors. It covers performance, operations, and what to expect next on every asset you hold, so you always have a clear line of sight into your investments.

Yes. Investors are welcome to visit a property before investing and throughout the life of the project. We believe that kind of access builds trust, and we would rather you walk the asset and see it firsthand than take our word for it. Just reach out and we will help arrange a visit.
